Pinch A Penny - Pump purchase
Had 1st new pump installed it lasted 2 yrs , bought a replacement this time it lasted 8 months, replaced under warranty at a cost of 90.00. This pump has now gone out in 6 months.
The moral to this story is Pinch a Penney is selling defective pool pumps. Being a small franchise company that installs and sells inferior quality pumps it will hurt them where it counts. No longer will support Pinch a penny as they don't care what they sell their customers.
The original pump from pool company installation lasted 10 yrs. They have switched brands from my 1st replacement that lasted 2 yrs to an even cheaper quality pump.
Reason of review: Bad quality.
Monetary Loss: $400.
Preferred solution: Let the company propose a solution.
